Western Carolina finished with a 26-18 advantage in shots, while both teams placed 10 attempts on goal. The Catamounts also held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Following Sunday's performance, Pack and Grantham now occupy the top two spots in the Southern Conference in both points and goals. Pack leads the SoCon with 25 points and 10 goals, while Grantham ranks second with 22 points and nine goals.

"You've got to be good to get anything from Western Carolina, especially here in Cullowhee," head coach Ciaran Traquair said. "We had a lot of the ball in the first half, but it was too comfortable for the opponent and we couldn't get up the pitch. We asked them to be braver in the second half and play forward. The response was outstanding. The ladies grabbed control of the game, fought back to get a great equalizer and then went on to win the game. Massive three points for the program on a special Citadel weekend."
