The Citadel Athletics Announces Departmental Promotions, Title Updates

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel Athletics Department released a slate of internal promotions along with updated titles Thursday morning, including a pair of Associate Athletic Directors, two Assistant Athletic Directors and a slew of revised positions within Sports Performance.
Within Internal Operations, both Adam Rabon, who leads Facilities & Operations, and Matthew Barbosa, who directs the Compliance department, have been elevated to Associate Athletic Director within their respective areas. In External Operations, Lucas Ferreira earned promotion to Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcast Operations.
Within Sports Performance, Joe Varga has been elevated to Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance while Russell Hubbs moves into the Director of Sports Performance role. In addition, Seth Summers is now the Associate Director of Sports Performance, and Jerred Scott is the new Coordinator of Basketball Sports Performance.
