COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams delivered a strong two-day performance at the Carolina Classic, highlighted by event victories, freshman records, and multiple top-10 performances in program history.

Day 1 Highlights
Day 1 saw two freshman records, four top-10 performances in program history, and three event wins, with nine Bulldogs finishing inside the top eight.
Men's Results
- Ridge Dowe won the 35-pound weight throw with a season-best mark of 54-4.5.
- The distance medley relay of Jack O'Cain, Wyatt Carey, Brett Cobb, and Ryder Harbaugh captured the event title with a time of 10:51.35.
- O'Cain placed fourth in the pole vault with a personal-best clearance of 15-11, breaking the freshman record and earning the No. 3 mark all-time.
- Gage Herring broke the freshman record in the 60-meter hurdles, running a personal-best 8.43 in the semifinals to earn the No. 4 mark all-time, after posting an 8.47 in the preliminaries.
- Carson Diggs finished seventh in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:21.05.
- Jacob Parker placed seventh in the pole vault with a clearance of 12-9.5.
- Frank Pastorino finished eighth in the weight throw with a mark of 45-6.25.
- Jordan Chestnut placed eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 45-8.5.

The Bulldogs added five more top-10 performances in program history and recorded 10 top-10 finishes on Day 2.
Men's Results
- Noah Casa placed sixth in the 300 meters with a time of 35.41.
- Cooper Watson finished eighth in the 300 meters with a personal-best 36.00, earning the No. 8 mark all-time.
- Gage Herring placed ninth in the 300 meters with a personal-best 36.29.
- Jordan Chestnut finished eighth in the high jump with a clearance of 6-3.5.
- Dylan Horne recorded a personal-best throw of 45-0.25 in the shot put to place seventh.
- William Owens finished ninth in the shot put with a mark of 42-3.25.
Women's Results
- Abigail Thiessen placed sixth in the mile with a time of 5:38.99.
- Jadan Dean finished seventh in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 37-5.75, earning the No. 10 mark all-time.
- Liliana Coe placed sixth in the pole vault with a personal-best clearance of 10-7, moving into the No. 4 spot all-time.
- Rachel Reininger and Luci Lippelgoos each cleared 4-8.25 in the high jump, earning the No. 10 mark all-time.
- Cameron Martin placed ninth in the 300 meters with a personal-best time of 43.29.
