GRADUATE STUDENT (2021-22): Appeared in 12 games making 11 starts for the Bulldogs accumulating 950 minutes of action… In her appearances she helped the team to 8 wins and 7 shutouts… Posted a full 90 minutes in 8 games… Scored 2 goals in the season, including the game winner in the 2-0 victory at USC Upstate (Aug. 26)… Her second goal was netted in the 9-0 win against Presbyterian (Sept. 3)… Integral in defense, she helped the team to least amount of goals conceded in a season with 22, breaking the previous record’s year of 23 goals against (2020-21)… Did not play the tail end of the season due to injury.

GRADUATE (2020-21): Led all Bulldogs with 1,707 minutes played while starting all 19 matches, one of only two Bulldogs to do so… Tallied her lone point of the season at an opportune time, assisting on the goal against Western Carolina to give The Citadel its first point against the Catamounts since 2010 (April 3)… Played 90 or more minutes in all but two matches and was off the field for just 68 minutes throughout the entire season… Helped to hold opponents to only 23 goals for the season, breaking the previous program record of 28 set during the 2009 campaign… Joined the rest of The Citadel’s back line to post five shutouts, matching the program record for the second consecutive season… Limited opponents to 210 total shots for the season, shattering the previous program-best mark in that category by 58 shots.

BEFORE THE CITADEL (NOTRE DAME): Played in 18 games for the Fighting Irish … Named team captain for the 2019 season … Appeared in a career-high eight games and made one start over 113 minutes played as a senior … As a junior, appeared in seven games, including playing a season-high in minutes at home against No. 8 Virginia … Appeared in three games as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Penn High School after attending Lake Washington High School for three years … Earned three varsity letters in both soccer and track and field … Named team captain during senior season at Penn, leading team to a runner-up performance at the state championship … Named a Northern Indiana Conference Honorable Mention pick … Named to the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association All-Academic Team and was an ISCA Top Team Player in 2015-16 … Named to the KingCo Conference Defensive Second Team as a junior on conference and district championship squad … Voted most improved on Lake Washington’s district championship team as a sophomore … Voted most competitive and most focused on freshman junior varsity team … Named the Biology Student of the Year and Painting Student of the Year for 2016 at Penn … Earned an AP Scholar Award … Named to the Honor Roll each semester of high school … Volunteered as a tutor with Kingsman Tutoring … Member of the National Honor Society … Was a member of the Indiana Fire Juniors and Crossfire Select clubs … Presidents Cup National Finalist and Sportsmanship Award (Crossfire Select) … 2015 Region IV participant with Crossfire Selection … Three-time Washington state champion with Crossfire Section.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Jim and Margaret McLaughlin … Father, Jim, played volleyball at University of California, Santa Barbara, and coached volleyball at Notre Dame … Mother, Margart, played soccer and was an assistant coach at Notre Dame.
