The Citadel Athletics

Monteer joined The Citadel Athletics in January 2024 as the Associate Director of Equipment Operations, primarily serving football.

In this role, he leads all aspects of equipment operations, from inventory management and budget planning to student manager training and daily laundry logistics, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and team support.

Prior to joining The Citadel, Monteer held key positions at a variety of institutions, including Charleston Southern, Idaho and Tulsa, as well as professional sports organizations like the Charleston Battery and USA Football. He has accumulated notable expertise across football and multiple Olympic sports, with extensive experience in equipment fitting, vendor relations, NCAA compliance and operations for both collegiate and national-level events.

Monteer received his Bachelor of Science in Recreation & Sport Management from the University of Arkansas in May 2017.
