CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Citadel basketball team hosts its 2014-15 home opener on Wednesday at 6 p.m. when it welcomes Toccoa Falls to McAlister Field House.
 
Among the promotions featured as part of the contest include the adidas BLUE OUT. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Citadel basketball t-shirt that will allow you free entry to any Saturday home game throughout the remainder of the season.
 
The Lower Richland High School Diamond Dogs High Steppin' group will serve as the halftime entertainment. Magnet schedules will be given to fans exiting McAlister Field House at the completion of the game. For the full promotional calendar visit www.citadelsports.com.
 
The Citadel dropped its first two games of the season against VMI and Air Force at last weekend's All-Military Classic in West Point, N.Y.
 
Meanwhile, Tocca Falls is 5-1 on the young season and is looking to rebound from a recent 71-67 loss to Spalding at the Stormy Petrel Tipoff Classic hosted by Oglethorpe in Atlanta.
