CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel basketball team welcomes Southern Conference archrival Furman to McAlister Field House on Saturday at 1 p.m. as the Bulldogs search for their eighth home victory this season.

st all-time meeting with the Paladins, who hold a 116-84 edge, gives The Citadel (8-9, 3-3 SoCon) an opportunity to win back-to-back home games against Wofford and Furman for the second time since the 2012-13 season, following a 69-66 victory over the Terriers on Thursday.

The Citadel is currently on a five-game streak which it has hit at least 50 percent from the floor, setting the standard for the longest stretch this century.

Beginning with a 51.2 percent (21-41) outing against Western Carolina on Jan. 3, the Bulldogs have knocked down at least half of their field goal attempts against UNCG (26-49, 53.1%), Samford (24-49, 51%), Mercer (22-44, 50%) and most recently Wofford (23-41, 56.1%).

Meanwhile, Furman (4-12, 2-4 SoCon) is looking to snap a two-game skid that includes losses to UNCG (71-64) and Mercer (83-73). The Paladins are led in scoring by Stephen Croone (16.8 ppg.) and Geoff Beans (10.3).
