CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team welcomes Western Carolina and UNCG to McAlister Field House this weekend for a pair of Southern Conference matches.

The Bulldogs (7-19, 0-9 SoCon) will host WCU at 6 p.m. on Friday and will close out the weekend against UNCG on Saturday at 6 p.m.

"We are looking forward to getting back on campus," head coach
Craig Mosqueda said. "We've been working hard this week and are hoping to take some steps forward."

In its last outing, The Citadel fell to Furman in Greenville over three sets. Senior
Rachel Keefer provided a match-high 28 assists while junior
Megan Sowell lead the squad in kills.

Junior Sam Espy has recorded 421 digs this season, just eight away from the program record for digs in a single season by an individual.

The Catamounts are 9-18 overall and 3-8 in the SoCon thus far this season. WCU enters the contest following a five-set win against ETSU on Sunday. They are coached by Karen Glover, who is in her fifth season at the helm.

UNCG is 18-8 on the season and 8-3 in the SoCon following a 3-2 win against Mercer. The Spartans are coached by Corey Carlin, who is in his second season.
