Bulldogs Travel to Face No. 7 Duke

DURHAM, N.C. - The Citadel hits the road for its second ACC contest of the season as the Bulldogs take on No. 7 Duke on Nov. 22. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. on the ACC Network.

ON THE RADIO
All games for the 2021-22 season will be carried on 102.1FM and 1450AM. The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, returns for his third season behind the mic.


ACC Network
Monday's game against Duke will be carried live on the ACC Network. Jay Alter and Malcolm Huckaby will be on the call.


THE HISTORY WITH DUKE
Monday's matchup is the 10th all-time meeting between the two schools with the Blue Devils holding a 9-0 advantage in the series. The game is the sixth contested in Durham.


SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
Duke enters the game with an overall record of 5-0. The Blue Devils are averaging 81.6 points per game. Three players average double figures, led by Wendell Moore Jr. at 16.6 points per game. Freshman Paolo Banchero is averaging 15.8 points and a team-high 8.0 rebounds per game. Trevor Keels is averaging 13.8 points per game.

The game Monday night will mark the fifth time the teams will meet with the Blue Devils nationally ranked.

BLUE DEVILS VISIT McALISTER FIELD HOUSE

Duke has played inside McAlister Field House on two occasions. The first time was in 1940 when both teams were members of the Southern Conference. The second meeting occurred on Jan. 16, 1991. The start of the game was delayed after news broke of the start of The Gulf War.


PULLING DOWN REBOUNDS
Forward Hayden Brown took care of clearing the glass against Presbyterian as the graduate pulled down 17 rebounds against the Blue Hose. The 17 boards ties for the second-most in a game for Brown in his career.
