CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel's
Suzuka Yosue scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-0 victory over VMI in the opening round of 2022 Southern Conference Tournament Tuesday afternoon at WLI Field.

How it Happened
- 7' – Suzuka Yosue got the Bulldogs on the board with a shot into the top right corner of the net. The goal was assisted by Jimena Risoto and Ashley Frank.
- 19' – The Bulldogs doubled the lead after Celeste Nader played a ball into the box where Yosue moved around a defender and fed a wide open Kristi Jones to bury the shot in the top corner.
- 49' – Yosue netted her second goal of the game with a header off the corner kick from MaKenzie DePriest-Kessler.
