The Citadel Nets Four in Second Half for 4-2 Win at Presbyterian

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel outshot host Presbyterian in a five-goal second half Sunday to push out a 4-2 win. An early goal sent PC into halftime with a 1-0 lead before the Bulldogs etched a pair of consecutive scores. Along with Friday's win over USC Upstate, head coach Ciaran Traquair's team makes it a perfect weekend to improve to 3-2 on the season.

How it Happened
•    8' – Sloan Spees got PC on the board early, going lefty with her kick to the bottom right of the goal. 
•    56' – Jimena Risoto used her first goal of the season as the equalizer, taking her shot to the top right of the net.  
•    63' – Zoey Conrad put The Citadel ahead, painting her ball to the top left corner
•    64' – Spees returned to the scoring column to tie the match up with her ball to the bottom left corner, assisted by Abby Ferris and Lindsay Malyszek
•    75' – Lexy Kendro regained the lead for the Bulldogs with another goal to the top left corner, assisted by MaKenzie DePriest-Kessler
•    78' – The Citadel quickly jumped ahead to nix another possible Blue Hose comeback attempt when Karen Majewski logged her first career goal off a feed from Lexy Kendro

Inside the Box Score
•    The Citadel earned its first ever win at Presbyterian, with just three previous meetings in Clinton prior to Sunday. 
•    After the early goal, freshman Grace Laws settled in to keep the Bulldogs in the game, tallying three saves in a 90-minute day. She is now 2-0 on the season.  
•    The Bulldogs led in shots 17-10, including 12-5 in shots on goal.
