Biography

JUNIOR (2015): Made the switch from goalkeeper to forward during the offseason … had four starts in 12 appearances for the Bulldogs … notched five shots and one shot on goal.

SOPHOMORE (2014): Holds the all-time career record for highest save percentage, with .752… Started in all 18 appearances made in the 2014 season, recording over 1,554 minutes in the net and made 117 saves…Was awarded five wins over the season…Recorded a season-high 13 saves on Oct. 3 against Furman, contributing to The Citadel’s 2-1 victory…Posted a solo shutout against USC Upstate on Aug. 22. 

FRESHMAN (2013): Played and started 16 games before missing the final two contests with an injury … ranked first in the Southern Conference and third in the nation with 141 saves while also leading the league and placing fourth nationally with 8.81 saves per game … save total is the second highest in a single season in school history … save percentage of .750 is the highest in the school record book for any net minder with at least 750 career minutes played … posted a goals against average of 3.01 (47 goals allowed in 1405:19 minutes) … recorded a season-high 15 saves vs. Furman including nine in the opening 53 minutes to keep the Paladins off the scoreboard … made 12 saves vs. Samford including six in the final 32 minutes in a 3-2 victory over the SoCon leaders at the time … also reached double figures in saves with 11 vs. Presbyterian, Wofford and Davidson and 10 vs. Jacksonville State … made a diving save early in the first overtime period and thwarted a breakaway attempt to preserve a 2-2 tie vs. Winthrop … in addition to win over Samford picked up victories vs. Jacksonville State, Charleston Southern (eight save), Elon (seven) and Chattanooga (four) … made four saves in a span of 48 seconds in the first half to hold Presbyterian to just a 1-0 lead before The Citadel was able to tie the game and force overtime.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of St. Peters School … earned letters in soccer, touch rugby and volleyball … honored as Sportswoman of the Year following her junior and senior seasons … named top goalkeeper for national tournament … member of the Waikato Bay of Plenty, Claudeland Rovers and New Zealand football clubs … also played in the Premiership women’s league in New Zealand.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of James and Christine Carter … double majoring in criminal justice and psychology.
