CHARLESTON, S.C.
– The Citadel men's basketball team wraps up its three-game road swing Wednesday when they take on Arizona State in Tempe, Arizona.

The Bulldogs started the trip off with a thrilling 116-112 victory over Stetson on Nov. 18, sinking eight free throws in the last 32 seconds of the game to clinch the win. Freshman Kaelon Harris led all scorers with 26 points while Quayson Williams and Brian White each chipped in 23. The Citadel made a season-high 18 three-pointers in the contest with White and Williams both sinking five.

The second game of the trip in Ames, Iowa, saw the Bulldogs fall to No. 20 Iowa State. Williams led the 'Dogs with 15 points and Matt Frierson poured in 12 as both sophomores hit four treys.

The Sun Devils come into the contest with a 3-2 record after going 1-2 at the Tire Pros Invitational in Orlando, Florida, last week.

Tip for Wednesday's game is set for 4 p.m. E.T. and the game will be available on PAC 12 Network.

FAST FACTS
• The Citadel's 146 points, 34 assists and 27 steals against Johnson University are the highest single-game totals in the NCAA this season.
• Matt Frierson and Quayson Williams are both tied for 10th in the NCAA for most three-pointers in a game after the sophomores sank seven in back-to-back contests. Williams is also tied for 10th in the NCAA in three-point field goals per game with 4.00 and Frierson is ranked 32nd with 3.60 per game. The duo has each hit at least one trey in each game this season.
• Zane Najdawi was named Southern Conference Player of the Week on Nov. 15, marking the first time since 2014 that a Bulldog earned the award. Najdawi posted two double-doubles to open the 2016-17 season and is the first Bulldog to post back-to-back double-doubles since Mike Groselle did so in 2011.
• Coach Baucom earned his 200th career win on Nov. 15 with a 119-90 win over Truett McConnell inside McAlister Field House.
• The Bulldogs are 3-0 this season when leading at halftime.
• The Bulldogs embarked on the first of two three-game road swings this season on Nov. 18 when they traveled to Stetson and Iowa State. The trip wraps up on Wednesday at Arizona State. The only other time The Citadel is away from McAlister Field House for longer than two games is in the midst of SoCon play, Jan. 19-Jan.28.
• This season, the Bulldogs face six opponents for the first time in program history with four being played in the first six games of the season. The Citadel welcomed Johnson University-Florida and Truett McConnell to McAlister Field House in the first week of the season and face all other first-time opponents on the road including the first game in program history to be played in Arizona at Arizona State.
• Wednesday's game will mark just the seventh time in program history that the Bulldogs will face a team in the PAC 12.
• The Bulldogs will host the inaugural Holy City Hoops Classic from Dec. 2-7 that features Colgate, USC Upstate, Campbell and Toccoa Falls.
• Last year was the first time in four seasons The Citadel did not face an ACC opponent but the Bulldogs renew that tradition this season when they travel to Virginia Tech. The former Southern Conference foes have faced each other 19 times before but this will be only the second time since 1966.
• The Bulldogs got off to their best start this season since starting 3-1 in 2012-13. It's only the eighth time in 25 years that a Bulldog team has started 3-1 or better.
