Bulldogs Travel to Face Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Citadel plays its second-straight conference game on the road as the Bulldogs travel to face Chattanooga on Jan. 8 at 4 p.m.

ON THE RADIO
All games for the 2021-22 season will be carried on 102.1FM and 1450AM. The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, returns for his fourth season behind the mic.


HISTORY WITH CHATTANOOGA
The Citadel and Chattanooga are meeting for the 88th time on the hardwood with the Mocs holding a 68-19 advantage in the series. The teams split the two meetings last season with each team winning on their home floor.


SCOUTING THE MOCS
Chattanooga enters the contest with an overall record of 12-3 and a 2-0 mark in Southern Conference action. The Mocs are coming off a 75-67 victory over Wofford on Wednesday. Malachi Smith leads three players in double figures at 20.4 points per game. He also leads the team with 55 assists. David Jean-Baptiste averages 14.5 points per game, while Silvio DeSousa is averaging 12.5 points and a team-best 6.8 rebounds per game.


CLARK SWATS AWAY 6
Stephen Clark blocked a career-high six shots in the SoCon opener against Western Carolina. It bested his old mark of five set on several occasions. The six blocks are tied for the 5th most in a single game in program history.

MAYNARD'S CAREER DAY
Graduate transfer David Maynard scored a career-high 17 points in the Bulldogs SoCon opener against Western Carolina. He finished 6-of-10 from the field, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc.
