Bulldogs to host VMI again in SoCon Tournament Opening Round Tuesday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel finished the regular season on a winning note Sunday, defeating VMI 5-1 for a raucous crowd at WLI Field.

The Lead

The Citadel earned the seventh seed for the SoCon Tournament and will again host tenth-seed VMI on Tuesday at WLI Field in the opening-round game
The Bulldogs finish the regular season 9-8, marking the first time in program history The Citadel has posted back-to-back winning seasons at regular season's end. The team went 10-7-2 in 2021.
Suzuka Yosue had two goals with one assist to become the all-time career points leader with 82 points on 24 goals and 34 assists. She passed Mariana Garcia's mark of 79, set between 2010-13. Yosue's 24 goals ranks fifth all-time.
