CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel (11-13, 5-8) returns home this Wednesday for a rematch with Wofford (15-11, 7-7) at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs have five more regular season games to move up from eighth place in the SoCon standings heading into March's conference tournament.

All games for the 2021-22 season will be carried on 102.1FM and 1450AM. The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, returns for his fourth season behind the mic. The game can be seen on ESPN+ with Kyle West and Jason Kempf on the call.

The Citadel has posted six games this year making at least 15 3-pointers, connecting on 17 in Saturday's win at VMI. Their season high is 18 at Duke on Nov. 22.
BULLDOGS WIN AT VMI FOR FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS
The Citadel showed a national television audience and a raucous VMI crowd its character Saturday, beating the Keydets in Cameron Hall for the first time since 2002 by a 83-79 score. Head coach
Duggar Baucom celebrated his first victory on the VMI campus as a visitor after logging 94 home wins as head coach of the Keydets from 2005-15.
Hayden Brown earned his third straight 20-point game with a match-high 22 points, while the Bulldogs tallied their second-highest 3-point total of the year with 17.
Tyler Moffe and
David Maynard had five and four treys, respectively, to lead the team.
Stephen Clark mounted a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds, while racking up six assists and four blocks. The game was broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
Fun Fact: The Bulldogs' last win at VMI was a 75-55 victory on Feb. 18, 2002. Freshmen Brock Wakefield and Jackson Price were not yet born.
ROCHE'S LONG-RANGE PATH TO GLORY
Jason Roche became the first Bulldog in school history to hit at least seven 3-pointers in consecutive games, drilling seven at Furman on Feb. 2 and a career-high nine against Samford Feb. 5. His 95 triples (2nd in SoCon) are most all-time for a freshman in one season at The Citadel and fifth-most overall. His nine threes on Samford were one off from the school record of ten set by three players, most recently Connor Kern in 2019. Roche also leads the SoCon with 35.8 minutes played per game.

Hayden Brown captured his third straight 20-point game Saturday at VMI and 22nd of his career with 22 points, moving him into 13 th all-time with 1,280 points. His seven rebounds added his career total of 650 for seventh all-time.
Stephen Clark posted four blocks Saturday to tie for fifth all-time with 59 blocks in one season. His 121 career swats ranks sixth all-time.

Hayden Brown has played fully. After missing the second half against Chattanooga and sitting out at Furman, Brown showed no signs of stopping against Samford when he had a season-best 35 points and added 11 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the year. He has scored at least 20 points in the team's last seven wins.
HISTORY WITH WOFFORD
Wofford holds a 63-50 lead in the all-time series and have won seven of the last eight meetings. The Bulldogs and Terriers have been conference foes since 1997-98, only ever meeting twice in the postseason. Wofford won both SoCon Tournament matchups in 2014 and 2020. They split their regular-season matchups last season, with Wofford winning the season opener, 89-77, on Jan. 19.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Wofford is 3-4 since meeting The Citadel back on Jan. 19, with its wins over UNCG, ETSU and Western Carolina coming non-consecutively. BJ Mack averages 15.9 ppg. that ranks sixth in the SoCon, dropping 17 points and 11 rebounds in the team's 69-57 win over WCU on Saturday. Mack also ranks second in the league with a 54.6 field goal percentage (154-282). The Terriers are second in the SoCon with a 46.5 team field goal percentage (670-1442) and third with a 76.5 free throw percentage (312-408). They possess the conference's lowest rebounding rate at 31.5 rpg., but only allow 27.7 rpg., which is best in the league.

Wednesday, Jan. 19: Wofford 89, The Citadel 77
The Citadel posted its best shooting percentage since Dec. 16 at 45.6 (26-of-57), wtih six Bulldogs making at least one 3-pointer. Despite making eight of their first 15 shots to go up 24-18, Wofford was also proficient at shooting, responding with a 12-2 run towards a 40-34 halftime lead. The Terriers finished the night shooting 53.2 percent (33-of-62), including a 58.6 percent second half (17-29) and a pair of 20-point scorers in Max Klesmit (27) and BJ Mack (25). It also saw the Bulldogs' lowest rebounding total of the season with 23 to the Terriers' 33.
