TYLER MOFFE: A CAREER IN REVIEW
Making his 109th career NCAA start Wednesday at Mercer, Tyler Moffe set a collegiate career best with 24 points en route to the win. It marked his third 20-point game in the last four contests. His previous career high was 23 points while at Mansfield University (NCAA Div. II) against Seton Hill on Nov. 23, 2019. All told, Moffe has 1,688 career points between his one season at Jamestown C.C. (N.Y.), three at Mansfield (Pa.), and the last two with The Citadel.

HISTORY WITH FURMAN
This storied rivalry currently has Furman ahead 129-87 entering their 217th matchup. The Paladins have won seven straight and 11 of the last 12. The Bulldogs, equipped with two comeback victories this season after trailing by at least 15 points, have a history of rallying to beat Furman in the last decade, with a 17-point comeback overtime win in 2018 and an 18-point rally in 2013 ranking in the top five all-time in school history.

SCOUTING THE PALADINS
Furman lost at Samford, 83-75, on Wednesday to hold off a 20-win season for at least one more game. The Paladins finished their home season at 12-3, but have posted just a 7-8 mark on the road. They possess the second-highest scoring offense in the SoCon at 77.7 ppg. and 3-point field goal percentage at 38.3 (357-933). Mike Bothwell (15.4 ppg.) and Jalen Slawson (14.9 ppg.) rank seventh and eighth, respectively, in scoring, with Slawson averaging 7.7 rpg. for fourth in the league and 1.9 steals for first.

THE LAST MEETING...
Wednesday, Feb. 2: Furman 102, The Citadel 83

The Citadel was bombarded with an impressive Furman shooting display that saw the Paladins take an 18-3 run to start the game, making 64.3 percent (21-33) and hitting on 14 of their 16 threes in the first half alone to lead 63-31 at halftime. Jason Roche saved face for the Bulldogs with six second-half threes on his way to 7-of-10 triples, a then career best. Hayden Brown was absent from the game due to injury.

ROCHE'S LONG-RANGE PATH TO GLORY
Jason Roche became the first Bulldog in school history to hit at least seven 3-pointers in consecutive games, drilling seven at Furman on Feb. 2 and a career-high nine against Samford Feb. 5. His 104 triples (2nd in SoCon, 5th in NCAA) leads the NCAA Division I among freshmen and stands most all-time for a freshman in one season at The Citadel and second-most overall. Roche also leads the SoCon with 35.9 minutes played per game.

UP TIL NOW...
The Bulldogs' six SoCon wins this season are the most since 2014-15 and their five road wins the most since 2008-09. The Bulldogs have had a pair of three-game, five-day stretches of their SoCon season.

THE 1,200-600 CLUB
Hayden Brown reached the 600 career rebound milestone at Wofford on Jan. 19 and 1,200 career points versus Chattanooga on Jan. 29, becoming the eighth person ever to reach the 1,200-600 club. Against Mercer on Feb. 23, he became the third Bulldog ever to eclipse 1,300 points and 700 rebounds.
