Soccer Preview | Bulldogs Travel to Chattanooga for SoCon Road Matchup

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel continues Southern Conference play Sunday, Sept. 20, traveling to Chattanooga for a matchup with the Mocs at Finley Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
The Bulldogs enter Sunday with a 6-1-2 overall record and a 1-0 mark in conference play following Thursday's 5-3 victory over VMI. The Citadel has won three consecutive matches and carries a seven-match unbeaten streak into its first SoCon road contest of the season.
Head coach Ciaran Traquair earned the 100th victory of his collegiate head coaching career in Thursday's win over VMI. The victory was also his 70th at The Citadel, where he stands as the program's all-time winningest head coach.

The Citadel has outscored opponents 28-8 through nine matches while holding a 162-96 advantage in shots and a 90-48 edge in shots on goal. The Bulldogs are averaging 3.11 goals per match while allowing 0.89 and have recorded four clean sheets.

Charlotte Seay and Sophie Voyer each recorded their first goals of the season in Thursday's victory, with Voyer's first collegiate goal standing as the game-winner.
In goal, Zoe Santos has appeared in all nine matches and owns a 0.98 goals-against average with 35 saves and an .814 save percentage. Freshman Aliana Banner has yet to allow a goal in 75:23 of action as the Bulldogs have combined for four clean sheets.

Chattanooga enters Sunday with a 4-1-4 overall record and an 0-0-1 mark in Southern Conference play following a 1-1 draw at Tennessee Tech on Thursday. The Mocs have not lost since Aug. 20 and carry a six-match unbeaten streak into Sunday's contest.
The Mocs have scored 18 goals through nine matches while allowing nine. Chattanooga has recorded 149 shots, including 61 on goal, while opponents have totaled 59 attempts and 24 shots on target. The Mocs are averaging 16.6 shots and two goals per match.
Quinn Johnson leads Chattanooga with five goals and 11 points, while Emma Reeves has scored three times and added an assist. Landry Olson has recorded two goals and a team-high three assists, while Paige Thomas has two goals and an assist and leads the Mocs with 38 shots.
