CHARLESTON, S.C. –The Citadel men's basketball team faces two in-state, Southern Conference foes this weekend when they travel to Furman and Wofford.

The Bulldogs opened the SoCon slate on Dec. 28 when they welcomed UNCG to McAlister Field House. Five 'Dogs finished in double figures but The Citadel fell down early and was unable to overcome the early deficit.
Preston Parks led the Bulldogs in scoring for the third consecutive game, dropping a career-high 32 points.

Furman is currently 7-6 and will come into the game well rested, having last played on Dec. 22 at Michigan. The Paladins are averaging 73.3 points per game and are 3-2 at home this season.

Wofford is 5-8 on the year and averaging 75.7 points per game. The Terriers are a perfect 4-0 on their home court heading into Saturday's matchup with Mercer.

Tip against the Paladins is set for 12 p.m. Saturday and the Bulldogs wrap up the weekend with a 7 p.m. tip against the Terriers on Monday. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN3 with live stats available at CitadelSports.com.

FAST FACTS
• Saturday will be the 205th all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and Paladins. It's the longest series with any opponent in program history.
• The Citadel scored 56 points in the second half of the game against UNCG, marking the 15th time this season the squad has posted at least 50 points in a half. The Citadel has also scored at least 100 points in a game seven times this season, something Coach Baucom's squad did just twice last year.
• The Citadel is 5-0 this season when shooting at least 40 percent from beyond the arc. The 'Dogs have hit at least 10 three-pointers in 13 of the 14 games this season and have seven games with at least 15 treys made.
• Last season the Bulldogs had just five games with multiple players scoring at least 20 points. This year, The Citadel has already posted seven games with multiple 20-point scorers and three games with a 30-point scorer. Last year's squad had just one game with a 30-point effort.

Brian White made his 70th career start against Toccoa Falls on Dec. 7th. While classmate
Warren Sledge's 50th career start came on Dec. 4 against Campbell. White also hit another milestone in his career as he eclipsed 1000 points for his career after scoring 21 at UMBC on Dec. 19. He's the 32nd Bulldog in program history to join the 1000-career point club.
• The Bulldogs recorded 14 steals at UMBC on Dec. 19, marking the seventh time this season The Citadel has tallied double digit steals in a game. The 'Dogs rank second in the NCAA with 147 total steals this year.

Preston Parks has proved to be explosive off the bench for the Bulldogs this season and has led The Citadel in scoring in three consecutive games. The Greenville, South Carolina, native has recorded nine games in double figures, including six straight, and six games with at least 20 points.
• Parks needs just 38 more points to rank among the top-15 in points scored by a Bulldog in their freshman season and already ranks eighth among freshmen with 62 assists.
